ASTM B111 C68700 Copper Alloy Low Fin Tube for Seawater Cooling Heat Exchangers

 

ASTM B111 C68700 seamless low-finned tubes are designed to increase heat exchange area. Their key advantages include excellent resistance to erosion/impact corrosion in high-velocity seawater and brackish water. The copper alloy material offers good thermal conductivity and natural resistance to biofouling. Due to its excellent expansion, bending, and weldability, it is also suitable for heat exchanger tube bundles. The low-fin design perfectly matches liquid-side cooling (seawater, brine) inside the tube and steam/gas cooling on the finned side outside the tube.
